Do you offer Gift Cards?Gift vouchers are available to purchase online or at the centre. You can select an amount to give to someone to choose their preferred treatment. You will receive an email with a PDF gift card to either email or print off. If you pop in to purchase a gift voucher, you’ll receive a physical gift voucher.

How do I know which service is best suited for my needs?At Local Motion, our expert staff will conduct a basic assessment to understand your specific requirements. Based on this evaluation, we will recommend the most suitable services tailored to your goals and preferences. We prioritise your comfort and well-being, ensuring that each session is personalised and effective for your unique needs.

What should I wear?Compression Boots - shorts, tights, pants are preferable for comfort as the boots cover the entire foot to upper thigh section. Infrared Sauna - All types of swimwear, you can wear gym gear if you wish but you will be getting very sweaty so anything that is quick dry is preferable for comfort. Magnesium Spa + Ice Baths - All types of swimwear must be worn. No clothing or gym wear. Rinsing is required before entering to ensure all detergents, perfume, deodorant and sweat is washed off prior to entering to ensure these do not enter the water (these can make the filtration system slower and release bubbles in the water that can at times require a full drain of the equipment). This is also for sanitary and health purposes and to allow everyone to have a clean and enjoyable experience.

I'm not an athlete. Can I still benefit from your recovery studio?Yes, at Local Motion in Nambour our hot and cold therapy along with compression therapy can assist anyone and everyone from all walks of life. Whether you are needing help with hormonal balancing, want to improve your mental health, need help with a general injury, old age wear and tear, or simply just need a space to relax after the hustle and bustle of life, there is something for everyone!

Do I have to bring my own towel?You are welcome to bring your own towel however, if you forget to bring one we have towels for hire which cost $2 per towel.

Do you offer discounted group bookings?Yes, we can accomodate up to 8 people at a time. 2 people using the sauna 2 people using the compression boots 4 people alternating between the magnesium spa and ice baths Bookings can be done in 1 Hour, 1.5 Hour or 2 Hour blocks and can be booked via call or text message on 0402 600 345 or via email hola@localmotion.com.au Discount rates apply, the entire space is for your group only and can be booked outside of opening hours. What are the temperatures in the the Hot and Cold Therapy?The ice baths are constantly refrigerated at sit at around 9 degrees The magnesium spa sits between 37-40 degrees

How do I do the Hot and Cold Therapy?You start off in the ice bath and finish in the magnesium spa. Ideally you want to be able to do 3 minutes in each hot and cold and keep alternating between the 2. If you are new to ice baths, you can start on a lower time frame of 1 minute and try to increase your time increments with each switch over. We are here to assist you and will help you with your breathing technique and relaxation of your body to help you increase time limits. You will find with consistency you will be able to stay in there longer with most customers being able to achieve a full 10 minute block after 2 weeks or consistent use coming in 1-2 per week. Remember, consistency is key.

Do you have showers and change rooms?Yes, we have 2 change rooms and a basic shower for rinsing as well as a toilet.

Do you have memberships?Yes absolutely. We encourage memberships as they work out a lot cheaper and help you stay consistent which helps you achieve results quicker. We have singles, couples and FIFO memberships available. We are also open to creating a tailored pack for you should your needs be different to what is available. To contact us for a tailored membership please text 0402 600 345 or email hola@localmotion.com.au You can join our memberships via the booking link, they activate instantly and payments are taken per week or fortnight from the day of joining which is also your service reset day. There are no contracts, 4 week minimum term, 7 day notification to cancel, suspension at anytime is also allowed.
