Starting out at the grassroots in the 70's and continuing on too today's hardcore surfing has been the inspiration that has kept the momentum flowing at Local Motion.

It's these hardcore surfers that we've designed and crafted our brand of surfboards on, the wave warriors, surfers that give up the norms of life to pursue their passion for chasing waves around the globe.

This pursuit keeps our creative juices flowing too. The demand from these surfers for better and new equipment is the driving force behind us. The relationship that develops between surfer and shaper is one that creates a lot of energy. This energy helps fuel the shapers, to search and develop new designs.
